The Shack

Mack, a man whose daughter had been kidnapped and murdered, receives a letter in his mailbox inviting him to spend a weekend at the very shack where his world fell apart four years earlier. 

It is at that very shack where Mack comes face to face with God and learns to heal.

This book has many layers and they're all cleverly woven together to create this suspenseful page-turner. The two women's stories were so good! The characters and the situations felt real and believable. When I got to the first big twist, I had to stop and absorb it. A great, twisty book about the complexities of marriage and how there are three sides to every story - yours, theirs and the truth.  4/5.
